TOTALMUSIK LAUNCHES DEFINITIVE METASONIX WRETCH MACHINE SAMPLE LIBRARY
First-Ever Library of Raw Polyphonic Wretch Machine Samples Available for Download Now for Kontakt 4 at Totalmusik.com
Launch Promotions Include Introductory Download Price of $49.99 and Totalmusik “Free Libraries for Life” Giveaways
“[Totalmusik’s] Poly-Wretch samples are absolutely world-class and will embarrass any number of other sample library makers” – Eric Barbour, Metasonix
TOTALMUSIK.COM – May 15, 2010 – Totalmusik, the sample library and analog equipment divsion of Endmusik Productions, today announced the launch of the first-ever library of raw samples for the Metasonix S-1000 Wretch Machine. The Metasonix-endorsed library is available today for immediate download at Totalmusik.com [http://www.totalkmusik.com].
The Polyphonic Wretch Machine is the first sample library developed and sold by Totalmusik. Available at launch for the low, introductory price of $49.99, the library aims to offer the most comprehensive and raw presentation of this innovative gas-tube synthesizer next to the original rack-mount unit. The painstakingly recorded samples of the unit’s oscillators are currently available for sound designers who use Native Instruments’ Kontakt 4 virtual sampler.
At the helm of the sample library’s recording is Totalmusik mastermind Michael Weeks, who has been involved with the S-1000 Wretch Machine since its inception. Brought to life by Metasonix at Michael’s request for an integrated rack-mount synthesizer, the Wretch Machine was ultimately named for his own band, the Wretch. Having also designed the unit’s display panel and used extensively on two commercially available Wretch albums, Michael has clocked more hours behind the wheel of the Wretch Machine than anyone outside of Metasonix’s own Eric Barbour.
Metasonix’s chief mad scientist, Eric Barbour, said, "Mike Weeks is a genius. His music productions to date have been remarkably mature, complex and involving. His Poly-Wretch samples are absolutely world-class and will embarrass any number of other sample library makers. The next best thing to a costly Metasonix Wretch Machine would be his library. Highly recommended."
In addition to this sample library’s introductory $49.99 price ($64.99 after June 15). Totalmusik is also offering a number of “Free Libraries for Life” giveways that coincide with the launch of the new website. The first five customers to purchase the Polyphonic Wretch Machine library will automatically receive a custom download code giving them access to any and all future Totalmusik-branded sample libraries available at Totalmusik.com. From there, the promotion will apply to every 25th customer of this library.
Additional Totalmusik sample libraries are planned for the coming months.
