About Us

Totalmusik  was founded by Michael Weeks in 2006 to offer NYC-area representation and sales to analog equipment manufacturers Metasonix and Eowave. For more information on our Metasonix and Eowave products, please see the Distribution section.

Totalmusik also offers downloadable commercial sound libraries. Our team of dedicated sampling professionals scour the earth for unique sound sources to develop novel and new content for use in modern software samplers. We pride ourselves on our “special” brand of sound design, focusing on the unusual, unheard, and unorthodox. We focus on libraries spanning multisampled instruments, ambient beds and source material, one-shots and drum kits, and impulse responses for use in convolution reverb plugins.

Our team

Michael Weeks - Founder and lead sound designer

For the past 10 years, Michael has recorded 10 full length albums for various projects and is the composer of several independent film and animation scores. He has also contributed sample packs to Computer Music magazine's cover disc.
